Meet Our Design Team
When it comes to Total MetalWorking Solutions, there are three critical factors to consider: Engineering, Engineering, and Engineering! In each of these cases, we have you covered.
Our 12-member engineering team is dedicated and experienced in all aspects of sheet metal engineering, whether mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, industrial, or tooling. In our state-of-the-art facility, we emphasize direct early customer involvement. It is our goal to determine which manufacturing process best fits your needs – to save you time and money, and still fulfill your singular requirements.
Every new product introduced to McAlpin Industries undergoes our "New Order Review Process" (NORP). When we describe NORP to our customers, we typically say that "all the king's horses and all the king's men" (a cross-functional group of associates representing Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Planning) assemble around the new product. Their goal is to determine anything and everything that could possibly go wrong during the manufacturing process. Each issue is then addressed and resolved, so that when the product hits the manufacturing floor, there is little chance for error.
This group facilitates all manufacturing procedures from start to finish – from tool tryout and approval to process trial and support, to operator training and quality plans.
Along the way, we have also pioneered a number of techniques that accelerate prototype development and quality testing of manufactured products. We offer you the McAlpin promise to get the job done efficiently, cost-effectively, and accurately.
