Quality Engineer
McAlpin Industries Inc.; Location: Rochester, NY Title: Quality Engineer, Full-time, 45/hrs week with benefits, First Shift. Job Description: Responsible for all quality related to manufacturing and purchased components/raw materials for existing and new projects. Serves as internal ISO Quality Auditor. Drives continuous improvement and prevention of future failures by helping facilitate implementation of corrective actions. Coaches, mentors & trains Quality Inspectors/Analysts. Major Skills Required: Strong understanding of Quality and problem solving skills as related to manufacturing. Strong math/statistical background. Strong Communication skills with shop floor operators, management and customers. Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
Manufacturing Supervisor
McAlpin Industries Inc.; Location: Rochester, NY Title: Manufacturing Supervisor, Full-time, 45/hrs week with benefits, First Shift. Job Description: Supervise laser/turret punch press and press brake forming department. Supervises and directs all activities of manufacturing departments. Responsible for safety, quality, cost and schedule performance of direct reports. Individual must carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Major Skills Required: Strong understanding of CNC laser/ Turret punch press equipment (Prefer experience with Amada equipment). Strong supervisory skills, communication skills with shop floor operators, and strong problem solving skills relative to manufacturing.
CNC Programmer
McAlpin Industries Inc.; Location: Rochester, NY Title: CNC Programmer, Full-time, 45/hrs week with benefits, First Shift. Job Description: Develop and maintain CNC programs for laser/turret punch press and press brake forming equipment. Major Skills Required: Strong CNC programming skills (Prefer experience with Amada Software). Strong solid modeling experience. Strong Match skills. Strong Communication skills with shop floor operators.
