Precision Stamping Services
Using punch presses up to 440 ton capacity, McAlpin Industries, provides precision stamping services with tolerances to +/- 0.001 in.  We manufacture complex stamping assemblies and pieces using conventional, cost effective and progressive dies. Tooling is designed, built and maintained in-house.

We work with metals that include carbon steel, aluminum, stainless, spring steel, copper, and exotic metals and alloys. We can provide a number of options that fit your volume and complexity needs.

Has a die block mounted on a punch plate with perforators in the upper die. Allows the cutting of internal and external part features on a single operation

Die Forging: Open and closed die forging.
Fineblanked
The near-zero clearance and exacting tolerances for fineblanking dies can produce a high quality, net-shape, part—when the dies are relatively new. However, over time the dies wear. This often results in metal pull-down, creating an extruded edge on features of the part. It is the malleable metals that create the undesirable burr.
